Sin separates us from God, and there is nothing we can do to fix that on our own. God is the only one able to bridge the gap between us and Himself. He could have left us as sinners, forever apart from Him, but He didn’t! God loves us so much that He chose to come to us through Jesus. Jesus’ death and resurrection took care of our sin and allows us to come close to God when choose to believe in and follow Him.
