Reflect

“Paul writes in Ephesians, “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.” (Ephesians 2:19-20)

As we reflect on the genealogy of Jesus, remember that we have been adopted into the family of God. We are His sons or daughters–members of His household. Those who belong to Jesus have this blessed assurance: that our names are eternally secure in the Lamb’s book of life. Nothing can take away God’s love for us, nor remove us from His family album.”
