POSITION SUMMARY
The Family of Churches is made up of five local churches in Clark County, Washington. These five churches are interdependent, locally led, and missionally linked. Summit View: Heritage Park is one of these local churches. SVC celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, and has a rich history in the Clark County area. The Local Lead Pastor of of SVC: Heritage Park will lead the congregation in the areas of preaching/vision, mission, and local leadership oversight.
POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Director of Spiritual Formation and High School Ministry is to contribute and contextualize the mission and vision of Summit View Church through Gospel-centered leadership over our Adult and High School Ministries. This is accomplished by equipping and empowering those within the Westside community as a whole and the High School Ministry. The Director will have a dynamic range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the following: develop and foster the spiritual development of adults at Summit View Westside; develop a Gospel-centered culture for the high school students at Summit View Westside. The person in this role may also have opportunities to preach during Sunday gatherings as appropriate by gifting. This person will divide their time approximately 60% toward Spiritual Formation and 40% to High School Ministry.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary duties of the Elementary Coordinator (EC) is to coordinate volunteers and curriculum for Kindergarten to 5th grade. The EC develops relationships with the volunteers and schedules volunteers for service in the elementary grades. The EC downloads, formats, and revises the curriculum for the elementary classes. The EC preps weekly the supplies needed for the lessons for all classrooms from Kindergarten to 5th grade.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position requires a hard-working individual who possesses an understanding of proper cleaning methods. The church facilities assistant will ensure that all publicly accessible areas of the church are clean and ready for other staff members and the congregation to use. The job consists of but is not limited to custodial work such as changing light bulbs, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing floors, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, restocking items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies. This position requires knowledge about proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques and have the ability to self direct. This position may also maintain supply inventory, submit purchase requests, and assist with preparation and/or clean up for events, such as weddings or funerals. A successful facilities assistant should be observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing church members, visitors, and staff with a clean, orderly place to worship and congregate.
