Tribe Small Groups

Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Gym

We believe in the power of relationships.  Our small groups invite each student to explore his or her faith within the context of peer and adult relationships.  Groups will spend time growing closer to God as they grow closer to each other.

All Axis Pass

We want to have healthy conversations with the students of Tribe Ministry and we know that our parents want to as well. However, as adults we don’t always know the best way to have an important conversation or we might not be aware of the issues that are facing our teens. That’s where Axis.org comes in. Their mission is to equip adults with the tools to have healthy, life-transformational conversations with teens.

Summit View Church wants to place this resource in your hands. To receive access to the growing library of content at Axis.org, email Rob Williams.

COVID Response

We are adhering to guidelines outlined by our leadership at Summit View Church to promote a healthy environment for all students to engage our Tribe services. For more information on the measures we are taking check out the link below.

Some measures we are taking:

    – Bring and wear a mask for the duration of Tribe.

    – Asking students to stay home if they are feeling ill.

    – Taking the temperature of all volunteer adult leaders.

    – Posting signs that encourage and inform healthy practices.

Middle School Pastor

Growing up in Vancouver, I have been involved with Middle School ministry in the area since 2002.

Over my time in ministry, I have noticed that our Middle School students are often underestimated, undervalued, and overlooked for opportunities they are qualified for. I have a passion to see Middle School students be given opportunities that will challenge them and cause them to look beyond themselves to discover the answer to different problems. I don’t like to use the term “next generation” because I believe they are as capable as “this generation”.

I believe that Middle School students are far more capable than adults give them credit for. When we begin seeing students as “empowerable” and not just “equippable,” we release an unstoppable force in our community for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

I am thankful to serve the students of Summit View Church. It is a privilage to work at a church that places a high priority on student ministry. I love to partner with great parents (like you) in raising spiritually maturing young men and women. Thank you for the opportunity to influence the life of your most prized possession.

I welcome the opportunity to process through how we can TOGETHER release this generation.
