Verse 1

We worship the God who was
We worship the God who is
We worship the God who evermore will be
He opened the prison doors
He parted the raging sea
My God, He holds the victory

There’s joy in the house of the Lord
There’s joy in the house of the Lord today
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise
There’s joy in the house of the Lord
Our God is surely in this place
And we won’t be quiet
We shout out Your praise

Verse 2

We sing to the God who heals
We sing to the God who saves
We sing to the God who always makes a way
‘Cause He hung up on that Cross
Then He rose up from that grave
My God’s still rolling stones away

We were the beggars
Now we’re royalty
We were the prisoners
Now we’re running free
We are forgiven, accepted Redeemed by His grace
Let the house of the Lord sing praise

Verse 1

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation
O my soul, praise Him, for He is your health and salvation
Come, all you hear, now to His temple draw near
Join me in glad adoration

Verse 2

Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning
Sheltering you under His wings, and so gently sustaining
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
Sent by His gracious ordaining

Verse 3

Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you
Surely His goodness and mercy shall daily attend you
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do
If with His love He befriends you

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee
God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee
Opening to the Sun above

Verse 4

Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore Him
All that has life and breath, come now with praises before Him
Let the amen sound from His people again
Gladly forever adore Him

Verse 1

I love You, Lord
For Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

All my life You have been faithful
All my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

Verse 2

I love Your voice
You have led me through the fire
In the darkest night
You are close like no other
I’ve known You as a Father
I’ve known You as a Friend
And I have lived in the goodness of God

Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me
Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me
With my life laid down
I’m surrendered now
I give You everything
‘Cause Your goodness is running after
It’s running after me

Verse 1

I searched the world
But it couldn’t fill me
Man’s empty praise
And treasures that fade
Are never enough

Then You came along
And put me back together
And every desire
Is now satisfied
Here in Your love

There’s nothing better than You
There’s nothing better than You
Lord, there’s nothing
Nothing is better than You

Verse 2

I’m not afraid
To show You my weakness
My failures and flaws
Lord, You’ve seen them all
And You still call me friend

‘Cause the God of the mountain
Is the God of the valley
There’s not a place
Your mercy and grace
Won’t find me again

You turn mourning to dancing
You give beauty for ashes
You turn shame into glory
You’re the only one who can

You turn graves into gardens
You turn bones into armies
You turn seas into highways
You’re the only one who can
You’re the only one who can

Verse 1

In the darkness we were waiting
Without hope, without light
‘Til from Heaven You came running
There was mercy in Your eyes
To fulfill the law and prophets
To a virgin came the word
From a throne of endless glory
To a cradle in the dirt

Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings

Verse 2

To reveal the kingdom coming
And to reconcile the lost
To redeem the whole creation
You did not despise the cross
For even in your suffering
You saw to the other side
Knowing this was our salvation
Jesus for our sake you died

Verse 3

And the morning that You rose
All of Heaven held its breath
‘Til that stone was moved for good
For the Lamb had conquered death
And the dead rose from their tombs
And the angels stood in awe
For the souls of all who’d come
To the Father are restored

Verse 4

And the church of Christ was born
Then the Spirit lit the flame
Now this gospel truth of old
Shall not kneel, shall not faint
By His blood and in His name
In His freedom I am free
For the love of Jesus Christ
Who has resurrected me

Verse 1

All the saints and angels
They bow before Your throne
All the elders cast their crowns
Before the Lamb of God and sing

You are worthy of it all
You are worthy of it all
For from you are all things
And to You are all things
You deserve the glory

Day and night, night and day
Let incense arise

I exalt Thee

Verse 1

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest friend
But wholly trust in Jesus name

Christ alone
Weak made strong
In the Savior’s love
Through the storm
He is Lord
Lord of all

Verse 2

When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil

Verse 3

When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh, may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless stand before the throne

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be

Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me

Suzanna Johnson

Many don’t remember their life when they were three, but that is when I started having to trust in God. When I turned four my family split, I no longer could see my 2 older brothers. For 11 years I pressed into God knowing he was using my family’s story for good. God answered years of prayers and has reunited my family. (God bless!!) For the past 2 years I have learned that I can not do life alone. I need God, I need him every moment every hour. God has given me confidence in heaven and in how he loves me. I’m excited to get baptized as an outward statement of faith in front of all my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Jeff Nichols

Since I’ve been following God’s path, I’ve realized that God has a plan for me! Getting baptized is part of His plan.

Alec Chaney

I grew up in a Christian family, and as I got older I became more and more interested in Christianity. Growing up, I attended local summer bible camps like Royal Ridges and Trout Creek, which inspired me even more in my walk with Christ. I’m now wanting to take my walk with the Lord more seriously by showing that I give my life to Christ!

Luke Chaney

I have always believed in God and I want to start to feel more connected with Him because I have started to feel a slight disconnect with Him lately and I want to have a stronger connection with Him.

Liam Albrecht

I feel like I want to get closer to Jesus and I want to know what it feels like to fully commit to God.

Jasmyne Keller

I was first baptized when I was 6 years old. I understood that it meant I loved God and I was living for Him. I understood that Jesus died for my sins. But when I got to the age where I truly understood what the commitment in a relationship with Christ and fully surrendering my life to Him looked like. I put Him aside. I started just believing in Him because that’s what I had been raised in and that’s what I saw my parents doing. I lived a life for myself and used God as a comfort in it was convenient for me. It lead me to struggles of depression, anxiety, and doubt in God. I didn’t trust Him or walk with Him. But the beginning of this summer, I joined the young adults group here. And I finally opened up my heart to what God had been trying to teach me for years. I saw Him as the beautiful father He is. I surrendered everything I had been holding on to and struggling with to Him. I decided to get rebaptized because I want to rededicate my life to Christ and become dead to my old self. I’m declaring that the Lord is the one and only ruler in my life. I give everything to Him and no worldly thing will ever have control in my life again. I love God and I want to lead a life that glorifies Him in everything that I do.

Katelyn Sawyer

I believed in God when I was really, really little. But then I accepted Jesus into my heart at the True Girl conference when I was 8. I want to get baptized because I want others to know I love God.

Caleb Newport

I am thankful that my parents started taking me to church at a young age, introducing me to Jesus early on. I’ve always wanted to get baptized, so when this opportunity came about, I decided it was time to go for it!

Hallie Hegnauer

I grew up going to church with my family and neighbors. However, in high school, I turned away from the church and became very involved with a Unitarian Universalist congregation for 15 years. Eventually, my husband and I started having a change of heart due to events in the congregation that did not sit well with us and we decided to try a Christian church again. We tried Summit View Church in October 2017 and I was overwhelmed by the presence of God within the first song that was sung. We continued to come for the last 4 years, where I continued to grow and learn about God. This is the next step in my journey and I am excited to continue in my journey together with my husband, three daughters, and Summit View Church.

Brent Hegnauer

My wife and children have helped me see the beauty of God in ways I’ve never expected. Summit View has helped me understand the character of God in ways that had never been explained to me before… I am filled with a gratitude I cannot articulate, but actions speak louder than words.

Jonathan West

I am not ashamed of the Gospel! Jesus came into the world to save sinners. He died on the cross for my sins. I am so thankful for his love, mercy and patience. I have sincerely believed from a young age but, with various twists and turns in life, I never “got around” to being baptized. I always knew it was something important to do but it was easy to put off until “the right moment”. I am getting baptized today because waiting until “the right moment” and trying to have things on your own terms is not true obedience. Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” How could I wait any longer?

Kaitlin Blake

I was very spiritual for the last 10 years of my life, surrounding myself with crystals and incense and sending my intentions into the universe. being very spiritual for the last 10 years. I always thought that it was the best way to go, being different from those around me. I entered college in 2019 and was paired with 2 very Christ-loving roommates who showed me what loving God in different ways looked like, but I was set in my ways; so while they read their bibles, I read my tarot cards. A few months later, I entered an abusive relationship and it took over my life for a time. The day I finally took a step away from the man who hurt me so badly, I met the love of my life 24 hours later. I now know that was God. COVID hit, and our lives changed. I was diagnosed with severe depression and the doctor told me the only thing that would help was faith, but that scared me. But when quarantine hit, I only had time to think about a relationship with Christ. I finally came into the faith during a worship song camping with friends that May. I usually describe it as the holy spirit knocking on the walls that I put up over the last decade. I battled with questions for months, asking friends and family about faith, and one day in June, as I was driving to Washington for the first time, I prayed. I asked God for the most obvious sign he could think of; a strike of lightning, a tree on fire, a billboard, anything. Sure enough, that clear night where I could see every star, a bolt of lightning flashed across the sky. That’s when I knew that I was ready to build a relationship with God. My journey wouldn’t be as far as it is without those behind me; Joel Koehler, Will Gaines, Karl Drendel, Deanna and Duane Koehler, Sarah and Norm Allport, Trynadee Hodge, Kate Pitts, and Kai Bobozhanov, as well as my family who is across the pond right now.

Edith Potter

When I was very young I believed in Jesus (I believed it all, the whole word, I still believe it all). It was all so cool to me. I feel like I want to be baptized, because I will grow closer in my faith. I love that baptism is a way to show that I identify with Jesus and have new life in him.

Lucy Potter

When I was like 5 I discovered KLove and I understood about what Jesus did for me and I invited him into my life to be my Savior. I want to be baptized because I want to understand even more what it means to follow Jesus.

Eric Fletcher & Family

My family’s testimony starts with my wife and I met in 2011, both already being saved. We really began to talk our walk with Jesus seriously in 2019. Our youngest daughter recently got saved and now we feel it is time to be baptized as a family.

Together is back! Together is our all-church annual “family reunion” on the lawn designed to celebrate our unity in Christ as one church and one community as we worship and fellowship together.
