Although I grew up in the church, it was through Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) at Chico State that God radically transformed my life and called me into ministry. I got exposed to the beauty of the gospel and the supremacy of Jesus–and everything changed. A major contributor to this growth was the ministry of Acts 29, the church-planting network that The Family of Churches is a part of. This was a greenhouse of growth season that rooted me in gospel-centrality,  complementarian convictions, reformed theology, and Spirit-led leadership. My life changed and I felt a clear call to ministry as I wanted to give my life to helping people understand this glorious Jesus and His incredible Gospel.

Fifteen years later and this passion has only grown–I want to magnify the Name of Jesus and I want to help people grow to be more like Him. I feel a strong call to preach the Word, lead a church, and develop people–and this call has led my family from campus ministry, to church-planting, to where we are today.
