Signature dish (you cook): I make a mean breakfast sandwich.
Good habit: I drink tons of water! Usually around 80-100 ounces a day.
Bad habit: I’ve always been a nail-biter.
Coffee habit: Too much! My guilty pleasure is a 20oz Blended White Chocolate Mocha from Hearth Coffee in Hockinson.
Personal motto/Life verse: When there’s a Will, there’s a way!
I’m scared to try: Anything involving extreme heights. I’m fine in planes, but being out in the open, like on a big roller coaster, terrifies me.
Cat/dog/other: I have 2 cats, a dog, 15ish chickens (I haven’t counted in a while), and 1 tortoise named Goose!
Etiquette Pet Peeve: Clapping and cheering during the national anthem.
I wish I could tell my younger self: To shut up!
I never leave home without: A ring on my finger. No, I’m not married, I just wear a ring on my right index finger for no reason, really. I feel empty without it. I guess it’s sort of a fashion statement.
Your best friend would describe you as: I quote: “Extremely dedicated, motivated, detail oriented. Passionate about Jesus, music, and being a good person. Extremely awesome, and a really good friend”
The last book I read/re-read: The Yamaha Sound Reinforcement Handbook. Laugh at me all you want, but it’s the most useful and important thing I’ve read in my entire life.
Favorite part of your job/ministry: When I’m running sound, and I finally get to just set the iPad down and not think about how it sounds and just focus on worshipping! Also, watching kids from 6th grade and beyond throwing their hands up and singing praises at the top of their lungs. It’s so amazing.
Favorite Verse: I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land. Psalm 143:6
