Vicky Dillon
Acting Director of Ministry to Women
Vicky is serving as the Interim Director of Ministry to Women at Summit View: "I have the privilege of working with women leaders to disciple and equip them to raise up disciples. We are focusing on rebuilding our ministry with the goal of maturing women in all seasons to grow in their faith and walk with Jesus."
Vicky is a proud alumnus of Georgetown University located in our great nation's capital of Washington, D.C. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. "In the late 80's, Apartheid, AIDS, and the Iran-Contra scandal were the hot topics around the capital; around campus it was basketball and Patrick Ewing. It was there that the Lord began calling me to Himself. Go Hoyas!"
Words from Vicky
Nothing brings me more joy than to see women find freedom in Christ! I love to share truth from His word and my own life experience to encourage women to surrender all to God. I love to walk alongside them to help them figure out what a surrendered life looks like (I learn right along with them!). I pray that we will experience the generations of believers grow up to maturity and produce multiple generations of believers. My heart's desire is to see my own children and their peers mature into believers who make Jesus their Lord and who love others as He does. I long to see the people of Summit View live together in community which draws seekers to Himself!
Favorite Worship Songs
My favorite songs to blast throughout my house are "Sometimes He Calms the Storm" by Scott Krippayne, "Even in My Youth" by Erin O'Donnell and "I'm Not Who I Was" by Brandon Heath.
Favorite Verses
John 15:16-17: "You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another." This has been my Life Verse since 1994.
