Tonya oversees the Early Childhood Ministry three years through Kindergarten in Safari Kids. Her role is to ensure a well-organized safe and effective environment that will partner with parents in growing their children spiritually.

I am having a blast getting to know each and every one of the parents and children at Summit View Church. What joy it brings me, seeing the children so excited to come to church each week and learn more about the God who loves each of them so personally! I know we have a huge responsibility to our children and God to guide them in their spiritual walk and I feel truly blessed to be part of God's plan in all of us growing spiritually.

Favorite Worship Song
My family and I love listening to music. My favorite worship song is ever changing. Right now it is the whole CD of “Altar and the Door” by Casting Crowns.

Favorite Scripture
My favorite scripture verse is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I love to run and when I run a hard hill I will usually repeat this verse over and over again. To me, running up a hill is much like the trials we face at different times. It's during those times I can reflect and remember that the hill might be tough at that moment but beyond that hill is a breathtaking view.
