What are my Spiritual Gifts?

It can be helpful to know what your spiritual gifts are.  There are several ways to help determine your giftedness:

1.  Pray and ask God to show you how He’s uniquely equipped you to serve Him.

2.  Ask a friend or family member (who knows you well) how they’ve seen God work through you in the past.

3.  Complete a spiritual gifts assessment, or inventory.  There are several types of these “tests” out there, but here is a link to one that we feel might be helpful.

4.  If you’re still not sure about which gifts you have, don’t worry… God will still use them! If you are listening to the Holy Spirit’s leading and walking in obedience to Christ, you cannot help but have a spiritual impact on those around you.  Begin serving somewhere, in an area that interests you.  After while, assess how it’s going.  Do you see spiritual fruit?  Serving in the area of your giftedness should bring you joy and also stretch you to grow in your dependence on Christ.
