Showing God’s love; No strings attached

We can make a difference in our community! Join us every second Saturday of the month as we join with Crossroads Church (and others), coming together to roll up our sleeves and head out to help meet the needs in our community.

Each month we will have a designated project for the day. Lunch is provided and there are projects for all activity levels. It’s that simple. Bring the whole family and friends to share in showing God's love inside and outside the church! Meet at Crossroads Community Church at 9:15am. Teams will go out from there to project sites and projects usually wrap up after lunch around 2 PM.

The next Second Saturday will resume on February 11. The ministry will focus on two venues: Tree planting and relational missions at Hockinson Community Park, and a host of maintenance and clean up projects at Lord's Gym on Fourth Plain. Part of the effort at the Lord's Gym will be to expose the volunteers to the multitude of community ministries that are the heart of that church, e.g., its food and meals program, teen center activities, women's shelter, and preschool activities.

To participate, just come to the main lobby at Crossroads Church on 78th Street at 9:15 AM on Saturday, February 11. Busses will transport you to the project site. Lunch will be provided, then you will bus back to Crossroads by 2:00 PM.
