Russ Lucas

Community Pastor

Russ serves in two different capacities at Summit View. He is one of the Teaching Pastors, responsible for bringing some of our Sunday morning messages. In addition to this role, he is one of three Community pastors, which oversee the adult CARE group [0] ministry in our church. Russ also oversees the Hunter Education courses as well as the Men’s [0] ministry events and groups.

Russ earned a B.A. in Biblical Literature from Multnomah Bible College, and a M.A. in Exegetical Theology from Western Seminary.

I love seeing people grow. Whether it is when someone comes to Christ for the first time in a Sunday Service, or they join a small group, or go on a mission trip, or begin to read the Bible, or pray our loud, or start making better choices, or give something over to God, I love it all.
